Cameron’s first experience of touring and recording was with his friend Bertie Blackman. He played guitar and arranged horns & strings on her 2004 album Headway (MGM). After 2 years touring Australia, he then co-wrote her 2006 album 'Black’ (Morph Music), which included the singles ‘You Kill Me’, ‘Television’ and ‘Fast Bitch’.
In 2014, they worked together again, Cameron playing guitar on her song ‘Kingdom Of Alone’ from her Francois Tetaz produced album ‘The Dash’.
